Paul & Shiela Wellstone Center Auditorium What do solo acoustic songwriters do when they crave the fun of playing with other musicians live, but still want to perform their own originals? They form a collaboration, this one called 3 of Cups, featuring Tracy Jane Comer and Rachel Nelson plus percussionist Michael "Stix" Kiley, plus also special guest Tret Fure for these Minnesota shows (see also Feb. 3 below). As they back each other on their originals tunes, song arrangements can include harmony vocals, several guitar syles, fiddle, cello, piano, hammered dulcimer, mandolin, and harmonica. The Wellstone Center is easily accessed from anywhere in the metro area. Free ramp parking is available adjacent to the building. |

"Art in the Barn" Concert Series Three-Way bill with TRACY JANE COMER plus NELSON GRAHAM and the PIPER ROAD SPRING BAND! Come enjoy the barn with a casual evening of lively music. "Country Cornucopia" - A joyful musical festival that celebrates our lives in southern Wisconsin. A variety of talented musicians will join together to create an original musical evening by blending acoustic instruments, rich voices, fun and inspiration. Graham & Company: Nelson Graham's warm baritone, fine guitar playing, interpretations of country classics, along with his originals, and ear for great stories make for an evening of pure musical entertainment Piper Road Spring Band: Their unique acoustic/bluegrass style incorporates washboard and all the strings found in bluegrass. They have blended Irish fiddle tunes with American country, big band, novelty and space-aged Grateful Dead inspired jams. Art in the Barn is a series of performances featuring local, national, and international musicians and visual artists of many various media, and kite-flying. The series takes place in an 1870s barn, located on the farm of Bill and Anne Conzemius on Adams Road, south of the beltline off Fish Hatchery Road. Come early and bring a picnic dinner if you like. Bring your own beverages; ice is provided. Concerts are in the barn - straw bale seats are limited to early arrivers. Feel free to bring a lawn chair and don't forget your bug spray! DIRECTIONS: From the Madison beltline (Hwy 12/18), take the Fish Hatchery Rd/Cty Hwy D exit and head south. Continue on Fish Hatchery Rd/Cty Hwy D for 5 miles to Adams Rd. Turn right onto Adams Rd.
